Storm Front (The Dresden Files, #1) - Jim Butcher This book was a simple and fast read, and I am positively happy with that.At first, I didn't think I would like this book very much. It took about fifty pages to fully get into the story. There were also some comments about the general view of women the author seems to have (intention or unintentional, I am not sure) that made my eye twitch with annoyance at times, but once the plot gripped me, I was hooked and didn't really mind the smaller things that bothered me before. This book reminded me of other nameless books I read when I was a teenager. It was good. I liked the plot, a lot. Quick paced, made sense and the action was surprising (I am particularly in love with Bob and the idea of him).Overall, good read. I won't waste the money on buying the actual book here in Australia(come on! Books here are like $20 for a cheap one), but I won't hesitate loaning these out from a library.Well done, Butcher.
