Perfume: The Story of a Murderer - John E. Woods The least I can say about this book is that it was interesting, but I don't really have a whole lot to say outside of that. When I first started to read it, I was overloaded with all the descriptions of smells. I could picture in my mind the scents of perfume, skins, people... everything. It was fantastic, and I liked this book for that fact alone.Everything that happens to Grenouille is ... well interesting is the only word that comes to mind. Grenouille himself is an interesting guy, and the implications behind his life ring rather true, I would suspect. I wasn't overly enthusiastic about this book. It was definitely a good read, and I will more than likely remember all the descriptive factors for a long time. However, it won't be a book that I will reread in the future.
